Do I need to order my rental linens/items in advance?

We strongly recommend that you place your Martha’s Vineyard Linen & Rentals order when you confirm your vacation accommodations. You can rent linens/items when you arrive on Martha’s Vineyard, but we cannot guarantee we will have all items in stock. We will always do our best to accommodate your linen/item rental needs.

Do you offer contactless delivery and pick up?

Yes, contactless delivery is currently available and will continue to be an option even as the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

Can I pay when the reservation starts?

No. We require full payment at the time of booking. We are holding your items for you and are not making the items you’ve reserved available to other potential customers—kind of like a vacation rental reservation.

What is the reservation/payment policy?

All orders must be entered online and paid in advance. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover JCB and Diners Club.

Is there a minimum rental period?

No. You can rent linens/items as short as 1 day.

Do you give discounts for renting longer periods of time?

All Martha’s Vineyard Linen & Rentals are billed by the week. If you are staying for multiple weeks, 10% discount will apply if you are using the same linens/items that were originally rented.

Please see the below chart for further explanation:

  • 1 – 8 days = 1 week rental rate
  • 9 - 15 days = 2 week rental rate - 10% discount
  • 16 - 22 days = 3 week rental rate - 10% discount
  • 23 - 29 days = 4 week rental rate – 10% discount

You will only receive the discounted rate for the additional week if you keep the same linens/items. You will need to place a separate order if you would like replacement linens/items mid-stay. Please indicate when you would like the fresh linens/items by using the arrival and departure dates.

I have allergies. How are the linens laundered?

All of our linens are professionally laundered using hypoallergenic wash formulas designed for individuals with sensitive skin or chemical allergies.

Are beach gear and baby quip clean and sanitized?

Yes! We require that all our items is meticulously clean. Babies' immune systems are still developing and we understand that you as parents or grandparents rightfully expect clean, sanitized products. Items are inspected and cleaned after every pickup and then inspected and cleaned again before the next delivery. We use organic and/or non-toxic cleaners.

Do I have to be at my rental property when Martha’s Vineyard Linen & Rentals delivers or picks up the linens/items?

You do not need to be present when we deliver or pick-up rental linens. If you are not present for the delivery on your arrival date your linens will be left by the front door of your vacation home rental. At the end of your stay, simply place all of the linens back in the provided bag and leave outside the front door for pick-up by 12:00p.m.

Am I responsible for missing or damaged linens:

Yes. Any missing or damaged rental linens are subject to additional charges (listed below) to the credit card on file. Please do not use hand towels or facecloths as cleaning rags.

What happens if I damage the beach gear or baby quip, return it very dirty or lose the items?

You are responsible for the items once it is delivered to you, and it must be returned in the condition it was received.

Please do not allow any food or beverages in any equipment other than high chairs or booster chairs. Please do not allow smoking near any of the equipment as fibers and plastics can absorb the odor. If items are returned to us extra dirty (including vomit or diaper explosions) or smelling of smoke, you will be charged an additional detail cleaning fee of $25 per item. All beach gears should be washed with fresh water after each use and before returning as to remove all corrosive salt and sand from the items. Most properties have hose available under/beside the house.

In the event that an item cannot be fully cleaned, or the smell of smoke removed, or lost you will be charged the fair market value to replace the item.

What if I need to cancel a rental order?

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund minus $25 processing fee. Refunds are not issued for cancellations with less than 72 hours notice.

If I find linens/items provided by the homeowner, can I return for a refund?

You are welcome to return early, but no refund will be issued. Refunds are only issued if the rental order is canceled 72 hours in advance.
